Named Dove at birth, spreading peace and promoting peaceful abiding has been my mission from day 1. I have come to practice bodywork at a middle stage of life, and entered this profession with the maturity and insight from my life's experiences as student, world traveller, teacher, cartographer, spiritual seeker, elder care provider, manager, daughter, sister, lover, friend, and mother. I am committed to cultivating myself as a peaceful, kind and conscientious person, and to supporting others to do the same.
My understanding of the body-mind-spirit was early influenced by my mother's love for Ayurvedic medicine, yoga and meditation. As a young adult I too was drawn to the eastern traditions and studied Tibetan studies in India, Nepal and Tibet. My undergraduate BA degree is from Clark University. After spending a year in Israel after college, I moved to Boulder, CO in 1997 and taught Hebrew and Judaic studies. I also worked at Naropa University and was able to continue studies in psychology, religion and the arts. My greatest education, however is gained from motherhood, no better school in the world when it comes to learning compassion, teaching about health and wellness, and supporting another's growth and development. My massage training is from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. I continue to pursue my interests, happily doing the work that suits my body-mind-soul, while serving yours.
